Thanks again to everyone who has contributed so far!! Our fundraiser is still ongoing! We have raised $11,512 so far of our $15,000 goal. The more we are able to raise the more we are able to help students with their expenses over the summer. Please continue to share and spread the word. UPCOMING EVENT: Please join DePaul for a virtual presentation about voting rights, disenfranchisement and election security on MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, from 12-1 PM. After the panel discussion, there will be time for audience questions, as well as a conversation about the steps that can be taken to participate in Election Day, not just as voters, but also as election judges and poll workers. DePaul College of Law Professor David Franklin will moderate the panel. Panelists include Jenny Terrell, Voting Rights and Civic Empowerment, Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law; Noah Praetz, Partner, The Elections Group and Adjunct Professor, DePaul College of Law; and Christina Rivers, Associate Professor of Political Science, DePaul University.
