We are SO excited to share that our Founder & CEO, Jamila Trimuel, has been selected for the Obama Leaders program! 🎉

This is BIG and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with our LOV community!

Over the next 8 months, Jamila will connect with changemakers, thought leaders, and mentors from around the world while strengthening her leadership, building meaningful relationships, and gaining new tools to deepen her impact.

For 15 years, Jamila M Trimuel has poured into Black girls across Chicago through Ladies of Virtue, creating opportunities for them to lead, grow, and see more for themselves.

When leaders grow, communities grow and we’re excited for what this opportunity can mean for the continued work of Ladies of Virtue. 💙🩷

We’re excited to share that Ladies of Virtue has been selected as one of 100 nonprofits across North America to receive a 2026 PepsiCo Foundation Community Impact Award! 💗💙

This recognition includes a $5,000 grant that will help us continue creating transformative leadership and mentorship experiences for Black girls in Chicago.

We’re honored to stand alongside organizations making a meaningful difference in their communities. Thank you to our team, mentors, partners, volunteers and supporters who make this work possible every day!

We love seeing our LOV sisters step into new spaces and shine! 💗💙 This Summer, Payton Sims completed her first summer as an ATLAS Fellow, working on the Asset Servicing team at Balyasny Asset Management alongside 22 other Fellows.

In an update shared with our team, ATLAS Fellows said, “Payton was absolutely phenomenal! She stood out as a leader within her cohort.”

From presenting before more than 50 finance professionals to visiting Google, Baird, Cboe and Heard Capital, Payton showed up with leadership, curiosity and confidence. We are proud that Ladies of Virtue helped prepare Payton and connect her with this incredible opportunity. This is mentorship in action!

This year, we’re honored to recognize an incredible group of 2026 Leading with Virtue Honorees, along with Northwestern Medicine, recipient of our Legacy Builder’s Award, for leadership and impact that continues to make a difference across Chicago and beyond. 💗💙

Kinda chic to prioritize your mental health. 💗💙

This Summer, some of our LOV sisters spent 6 weeks growing from the inside out through our Inner G.L.O.W. Mental Health Small Group. With the support of a licensed therapist, Dr. Wright, the girls had space to connect, reflect, build confidence, strengthen self-awareness and explore wellness in ways that felt safe, engaging and FUN.

Because taking care of your mind, talking about how you feel and having a safe space to simply be yourself?

Very chic!!!!!
