Throwback to Mundelein College! Founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mundelein was a response to Cardinal George Mundelein's call for a Catholic women’s college in Chicago. The iconic skyscraper construction began in 1929, and Mundelein opened its doors in 1930, serving as the first self-contained skyscraper college for women.

For 60 years, Mundelein provided a comprehensive Catholic liberal arts education. In 1991, it affiliated with Loyola University Chicago, marking the end of Illinois' last private Catholic women’s college. Can you recognize any of these places?
