Today, there are 15,200,000 refugees in the world, 74,652 in the United States and 2,561 in Illinois alone. We are Loyola Refugee Outreach.
Since 2009, Loyola students have reached out to hundreds of these families. We are Loyola Refugee Outreach, an organization of Loyola University Chicago students who are working in collaboration with the Ethiopian Community Center of Chicago, a non-profit, charitable organization committed to serving the cultural, psychological and socio-economic needs of refugees and immigrants in and around metr

Thank you to everyone that has donated to the Winter Clothing Drive. The bins are practically overflowing with donations!
The Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) is partnering with us to host another Refugee Winter Clothing Drive on Friday, Dec. 7th from 4 to 7pm in Galvin Auditorium. Refreshments will be provided. Hopefully you all can come out to support the event.
Also, thank you to all who donated to the Winter Clothing Drive! Of course, thank you to the wonderful people who organized the drive! You guys did a great job.
