Rhino is Vernice Riego’s go-to 3D modeling software due to its precision and flexibility, particularly when creating detailed, print-ready designs. In this introduction, she walks through the basics of the interface, core modeling tools, and the relationship between NURBS, SubD, and meshes in the context of 3D printing. She also shares key tips for exporting clean geometry and avoiding common printing issues such as open polysurfaces and naked edges.

Every first Tuesday of the month at Pumping Station One from 7-8pm, sewing machine enthusiasts bring their machines, share tips and troubleshooting, and draw on shared knowledge in the community to help each other! No membership required, this is open to the public!

One of our members printed these TPU adapters to use a horse feed bowl as a splash guard on one of our pottery wheels!

It was originally going to be a masonry trough, but it was deemed unsuitably unergonomic.
