What a weekend! On Saturday at the CPS City Championship meets, we had some incredible performances. Here's the rundown:
-Kembre Daniel breaks freshman boys 1600m record, with a time of 4:45.37. Good for 2nd place for Frosh Boys.
-Jaelyn Evans runs 1:05.32 in the 400m and takes second place for Frosh Girls.
-Taylor Shannon wins Frosh Girls HJ with a final jump of 4'10.
-Frosh Girls 4x800 (Claire Considine, Maya King, Tania Bernal, Yuqing Wang) comes in 3rd place overall.
-Jacob Smith places second in Frosh HJ with a jump of 5'6.
Great looking future for this young Lions team. Keep up the good work!
