In Honor of Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22) and the sacredness of nature in the Qur'an, AIC will be hosting its first Friday prayer service this Friday (April 24) at the new location on Howard Street. We welcome you to join us for prayer and fellowship following, in sha' allah.

Friday prayers will continue to be held at the original AIC location (640 W. Irving Park) for the next few months, and so we welcome you to continue offering your Friday prayer there, if that is more convenient. That said, the time has finally come for us to open our hearts, hands, and doors on Howard Street to everyone wishing to learn and pray with us in our new Rogers Park location, in sha' allah.

Join the 5th Annual Chicago Interfaith Trolley Tour for a journey through the living history of faith in and around Hyde Park. As part of the 250th anniversary reflection on the American experiment, this tour explores Chicago’s diverse religious and cultural landscape, with a focus on architecture, history, and the faith traditions rooted in each space. Participants will hear the stories behind historic buildings and learn how interfaith collaboration continues to strengthen civic life.

The tour highlights how local communities model coexistence, hospitality, and mutual understanding through shared public spaces and ongoing dialogue.

AIC's Arabic Language Institute is pleased to offer the following courses in Summer 2026:
