2024 National ACT-SO Competition held in Las Vegas.

On Saturday, April 29th the Chicago Westside Branch held it’s competition at UIC Student Center East Building. The winners from the local competition, which will be announced in May will be headed to the National Competition in Boston.

NAACP’s 113th Convention held in Atlantic City, NJ. The Chicago Westside Branch was at the 45th National ACT-SO Competition.

Congratulations to all of the Chiy Westside Branch local gold medalist who participated in the first ever National ACT-SO Competition. Jaylen Lockhart of Whitney Young High School recruitment a silver medal under the STEM Category in Compo Science.
