Grades 1 through 8 filled the pews this morning for our first school Mass of the year, with Fr. Ryan and Fr. Bob leading us in celebration. (Sound on, our choir sings throughout 🔊)

There's something special about hearing the whole school pray together before the year gets rolling, the readings, the singing, the quiet moments in between. It's the kind of morning that sets the tone for everything ahead.

As we kick off our 125th anniversary year, moments like this one feel extra meaningful. 🙏

Mondays get a bad reputation everywhere except our Kindergarten playground. 🎒

Hopscotch, chalk, kickball, and a game of soccer that had more enthusiasm than actual rules.

If this is what Monday looks like for the Kindergarten Bengals, we'll take it every week.

First week: officially in the books. 📚✅

First-day jitters turned into full Bengal confidence fast. Our 1st and 5th graders kicked off reading buddies today, proof that this year is already about curiosity, kindness, and showing up for each other.

One week down, and we already can't wait to see what's ahead. 🎒🙏

There were happy tears, nervous tears, and a whole lot of brave. 🎒

Our PK & Kindergarten Bengals took their first steps into St. Benedict Prep this morning: tiny backpacks, big feelings.

To every parent who let go of a hand today, and every teacher who caught one: thank you. That's community. 🙏

Two days in, and all ~565 of our Bengals are home. 📚

You could feel the excitement in the hallways today. 🎒 Grades 1–8 walked through our doors, backpacks a little heavier and hearts a little full — and by the end of it, new friendships were already forming.

To our families: we know what today means. The nerves in the car ride over, the last look before they walked in, the pride watching them go. Thank you for trusting us with your kids for another year.

Day One is our "teach day": kids learn routines, expectations, tech, and safety, so they're set up to thrive all year.

Middle School ended the day on a high note: our newest 6th graders found out which Saint's house they've been placed in at the House Sorting Pep Rally! 🎉

Welcome back, Bengals. Here's to a year full of joy, growth, and faith. 🙏📚

The grill was hot and the courtyard was full of new and familiar faces.

Thank you to everyone who came out for this morning's Back-to-School Mass and BBQ! So good to see St. Ben's families and parishioners together again to kick off the year.

To every family walking through our doors next week — welcome back. 🎒

You chose a place where your child is known, not just enrolled. Where faith isn't separate from learning, it's woven into it. Where the preschooler down the hall and the 8th grader heading to graduation are both part of the same family.

Fr. Ryan and Fr. Bob blessed every room this week — desks, doorways, all of it — a brand-new tradition beginning in our 125th year! God bless our students, our staff, and our community.
