We encourage discovery and learning in a stimulating environment; our goal is to nurture each child' I believe the needs of families are many and varied.
Hello, we are Future Leaders Day Care Inc previously Tender Care Child Development Home Day Care in Chicago, IL. Future Leaders Day Care is committed to quality childcare and try to be as informed and knowledgeable as I can. I enjoy children and wish to provide a safe and happy place in which they can thrive. Children find stability and security in predictable routines. They also need large amoun
ts of time when they can make choices and play with a minimum of adult direction (but still have maximum supervision). Future Leaders Day Care home, allows this type of activity to happen naturally. I will be guiding the children in Nutrition, Health and Safety, Creativity, Arts and basic Pre-school learning. Each child will be encouraged, but not forced, to participate in the daily activities. A young child’s learning will be encouraged to be self directed. I belong to the Providers Choice USDA sponsored Food Program. For me, as a provider, this means I will be offered yearly training on nutrition related topics. I will also be given support and information to assist me in providing well balanced nutritious meals to the children in my care. For the families I serve, this means assurance of such well balanced meals and the knowledge of an over-seeing body that does multiple drop-in inspections each year, in addition to the facilitation of the USDA meal service standards that are recorded daily and submitted monthly for their inspection. I feel they need to be respected for their unique qualities, and encouraged to utilize and explore through them. I feel strongly that children should be encouraged to learn through play, with a lighter emphasis on structured activities. Conscientiously created early educational experiences will promote exploration, critical thinking, cooperative play, and the development of mutual respect. Materials available will be culturally sensitive, and offer opportunities to explore issues of diversity and fair treatment of all people. A fundamental goal of mine is to establish trusting relationships among children, caregivers, and parents and to make quality childcare available and affordable to families. I am committed to the families I serve, providing support and encouragement. I feel children can benefit from my training and experience with children. I can meet these goals by continuing to educate and prepare myself for the challenges that arise. I use an emergent and play based approach to support children's education in my program. My curriculum is literature based and activities emerge with the children's interests as the guide. My program is unique because I offer a home based Birth-to-Three program. I have a strong focus on the needs of the youngest of children including secure attachments, social interactions, early learning, literature, manners, healthy foods, and a loving home environment. I do all I can to set children up for a lifetime of learning and successful social interaction! We provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our child care is open to all children regardless of race, nationality, or creed, who may benefit from our type of program. The daily schedule will consist of breakfast, lunch, two snacks and dinner if necessary. Parents are encourages to participate by giving positive feedback.
