Landowska Harpsichord Society Landowska Harspichord Society of Ilinois, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization made to honor the great Wanda Landowska.

Provides venues for musicians, master classes; promotes appreciation of chamber music; exposes audiences to baroque-era instruments. The idea behind funding the Landowska Harpsichord Society of Illinois is to honor great Polish-French-American harpsichordist Wanda Landowska, one of the most devoted pioneers in the revival of harpsichord in the early 20th century. Our mission is to continue promoti

ng the musical heritage of great composers in live performances. The purpose of the organization is to develop a community of people who love classical music and are willing to enable and promote such music in live performances. The emphasis will be placed on solo and ensemble music involving the harpsichord and other historical instruments.
