Genevieve Catholic School has served the Belmont-Cragin community for 90 years, providing a quality, Catholic education both rich in tradition and rooted in faith for children from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. Last Thursday ECA5-3rd grade went on a field trip to The Grove. What started out as a raining day ended up being a wonderful day and the sun even made an appearance!! The students learned so much about life from long ago. They learned about what it would be like without electricity, plumbing, heating or air conditioning. The spent time in an Indian long house and saw how the Indians lived and how they used the land for everything! This was such a wonderful trip for the kids. Thank you to all of the chaperones who joined us for the day!

Today is all about taking a moment to slow down, share a little extra kindness, and bring peace into our classrooms, homes, and community. Whether it’s a simple smile, a helping hand, or an encouraging word, small acts of love can make a big difference. ❤️🙏🏽

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. — John 14:27
