Jean Baptiste Beaubien Elementary school is a Chicago Public School located in Jefferson Park (45th Ward). The school's mission is to continue improving upon rigorous instruction and programs which will allow all students the opportunities to pursue and develop their abilities for college and career readiness; to provide character building activities for the development of self-discipline, self-awareness, tolerance and acceptance.

Good evening, Beaubien families!

This is a quick update regarding tonight's PTO meeting at 6:00 PM. Due to a lack of air conditioning in the Windsor back room, we are moving the meeting to the cool Beaubien Library. Treats will be served, so please join us in the library at 6:00 tonight for our first meeting of the year. We hope to see you there!

Now that the first week of school is over, it’s time to discuss STUDENT SAFETY

🛑You are encouraged to not park on the east side of Laramie for drop-off and pick-up.

This poses safety concerns for students. Cars cannot clear the streets and a number of close calls have already been witnessed.

🚨Chicago weather is bound to turn in the coming weeks making for increased traffic. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND parking a few blocks away from the immediate perimeter of the school and walking your student to the doors.

Neighborhood families are strongly encouraged to walk.
