For the past few months, I’ve been building something I’m truly proud of. A creative world born from my Malinké (Mandé) heritage, my imagination, and the stories I wish had been more present to us all around the world. There are so many important proverbs of life, humanity, morals, ethics and culture with in these historical stories.

I’m excited to introduce Journée Visions — a cinematic storytelling universe inspired by life lessons and the great Mandé (Mandingue) storytellers (Griots/Djeli) the walking libraries, the traditional elders, ambassadors, healers, advisers and the history, mythology, and spirit that shaped our people. This is my way of honoring my ancestors while using modern tools to bring their legacy into a new, visual age.

If you want to follow the characters, the behind-the-scenes process, and the expanding universe I’m building, join me here:

Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in this journey so far. The journey is just getting started.
