Columbia’s Academic Center for Tutoring is hosting a writing contest this semester for students. Submit your nonfiction or fiction writing and you could win a $100 gift card to the store of your choosing and a chance to be featured at our winter art showcase!

TUTOR TUESDAY!!! This is an extra special appreciation post because this tutor, Jimena Ochoa Alvarez, has been the one creating all of the Tutor Tuesday posts this semester, and now it is her turn! Jimena is a musical theater major who has been known to practice her songs around the office. She was born and raised in Mexico, tutors both Spanish and French, and claims that she is a really great cook... can anyone verify that? Anyways, Jimena is graduating at the end of this semester so make sure to come and say goodbye!
