Congratulations to the incomparable Dr. Lamparter named AAEM 2022 Resident of the year! Recognized for her outstanding contribution to AAEM, Dr. Lamparter is the current AAEM/RSA President. She created an “Ask Me Anything” and Medical Student Mondays webinar series which explored how to match into EM, succeed in EM clerkships and away rotations, & write personal statements for residency applications. Dr. Lamparter represented AAEM/RSA’s interests to multi-organizational meetings on the workforce and created resident member sponsorship opportunities through the Founders Circle alongside AAEM. Her leadership for residents and students will undoubtedly help shape the future of emergency medicine.
