Did you know that volunteering is one of the best ways to develop your skills to advance your career? The workforce development division of the Chance Center is looking for 1:1 Coaches and Workshop Facilitators.

What we are looking for:
The 1:1 Coach
In this role, you will assist job seekers with resume writing as well as interview and job search skills. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in helping others develop their job readiness skills.

The Workshop facilitator
In this role, you will host a small group job readiness Cohort. You will lead and assist job seekers in developing skills to become employment-ready. Who are you?

You are a social media guru seeking to pursue your passion in marketing, but you lack the experience that employers require to land the right job. Enough of the dead-end jobs.

Perhaps you are a career changer with an amazing social media engagement strategy on a personal level; you know what speaks to your audience and you know how to get the crowd going. You do pop up lives and you have the gift of connection. Stop settling.

Finally, you may be a social media marketer that would like to give back to the community through service. It is better to give than receive.

The workforce division of the Chance Center, Job Coaches, is hosting a Six-Week Job Readiness Cohort just for you! This will be an interactive Cohort to help you prepare for the next chapter in your career. The curriculum includes facing your attitude, self-assessment, resume writing, job searching, interviewing with confidence, and negotiating salary. In addition, you will have access to two 1:1 coaching sessions. This program will be conveniently online and facilitated during the week outside of normal business hours. Seating is limited.
