A few of our board members attended the “Celebration of the Century” networking reception at the historic Drake Hotel last week. 💚

Our team enjoyed connecting with Spartans from around the world, catching up with friends, and building new relationships.

What a way to kick off the weekend! Yesterday we had the pleasure of gathering a few of our fellow Chicago Spartans together and volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help kick-off the long weekend.

Together we helped sort through 21,566 pounds of food that was loaded onto pallets, that we then broke down and repackaged into smaller boxes that will be distributed directly to those in need in our community. That’s 17,971 meals!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and volunteered with us yesterday, and we can’t wait to see you at the next one 💚🤍

Join us from 1:00p - 3:30p at the Greater Chicago Food Depository as we help to repack donated and purchased food. The warehouse receives food in bulk quantities and with help from awesome volunteers like you they can break it down into manageable sizes to be distributed to participating food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in Cook County.
