As we conclude Acero’s graduation season, Soto had the honor of kicking off the celebrations and setting the tone for this special time of year.

Class of 2026, you will be deeply missed. Sending you off into the next chapter of your lives was both a proud and emotional moment for all of us. While we’re excited to see where your journey takes you, we’re not quite ready to let you go.

Please know that Soto will always be a place you can come back to. Whether you need guidance, support, or simply want to share your successes, our doors will always be open. The entire leadership team is incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished and the amazing individuals you have become.

Stay in touch, keep believing in yourselves, and don’t be afraid to knock on those doors and chase every opportunity that comes your way.

The first historical milestone we're sharing for is the Society for Human Rights, which is considered the first ever LGBTQIA+ rights organization in the US and also had the first ever publication aimed towards that community, which offered a form of empowerment by giving a voice to a community of people who were heavily oppressed at the time.

El primer logro histórico que compartimos con motivo del es la Sociedad para los Derechos Humanos, considerada la primera organización de defensa de los derechos LGBTQIA+ de Estados Unidos, que además editó la primera publicación dirigida a esa comunidad, la cual supuso una forma de empoderamiento al dar voz a un colectivo que, en aquel momento, sufría una fuerte opresión.
