Woodlawn Diversity in Action is partnering with Jessie ‘MA’ Houston Park Advisory Council (my neighborhood and I’m a board member) to launch a mural project honoring Timuel D. Black, Rosie Simpson, and Rev. Helen “Queen Mother” Sinclair. We want to thank ComEd for donating their building in the park and the Chicago Association of Realtor’s generous donation.
