Im a silent reader. But I am posting this so people know to never give up. I took my exam Aug 6th. It was my 4th exam try. Being tired and sick of studying for the NCLEX. The day before my exam I almost rescheduled due to the low 2nd assessment exam. I went in to my exam slightly nervous but still thankful knowing that I have God on my side as I answered. It took me til 87 questions and I was ready for more but it shut down on me. I chose not to do the pearsonvue trick nor pay for my quick results. I waited and prayed every single day from aug 6th to now 21st when I checked my board and my license has been posted. The night before checking I wanted to already look for another bootcampesque prep site but I postponed it until after i checked when i woke up today. To God be all the Glory for He will never fail nor will He ever forsake His children.

To all who are still struggling I leave these to you:

1. Trust your judgement, you’ve finished nursing school. NS and clinicals were the hardest part of your student journey and you persevered
2. Believe in yourself. Believe in the preparation you have done.
3. Trust God, Pray and Listen to His word as He will ultimately be your provider and your home in times of need

What Ive used so far to study
1. Bootcamp 1st try(85 questions) and 4th try (87)
2. Uworld 2nd attempt (96 questions)
3. Archer (150 question attempt)

Ive used all these in combination but the best advice will always be trust yourself you got this

Passed at 85 questions on my first attempt! (11th August 2026)
I used BOOTCAMP as my only resource as it got everything I needed to review concepts, practice testing with their standalone questions, case studies, and readiness exams. I have watched all their crash course videos, answered all the case studies, finished all the standalone questions, read the cheat sheets (except the adult health and child health as I ran out of time). I also did the 4 readiness exams, and repeated the ones with the borderline and very low scores, until I got very high scores in all 4.

I had a full time job, I self-reviewed, I prepared for 3months for at least 2-3 hours per day with BOOTCAMP as my Bestie, and prayed fervently.

I took my NCLEX yesterday, and I honestly walked out feeling completely defeated. 😩
I had so many SATA questions, case studies, medications, follow-up questions, and one bow-tie. I went all the way to 150 questions, and it felt like I was guessing through so much of the exam. Nothing I studied felt like it could have fully prepared me for what I saw.
This morning, I woke up to an email from Pearson VUE asking me to complete a survey, and now my anxiety is even worse. 😭
For those who have taken the NCLEX, does receiving the survey mean anything about passing or failing? And if I don’t want to try the Pearson VUE trick, how long did you have to wait before you saw your result?
I’m so scared and just praying for good news. 🙏🏽❤️

❤️How I Passed the NCLEX in 85 Questions (As a Second-Language Nurse!)❤️❤️

I graduated in December 2025. Because English is my second language, I struggled heavily throughout nursing school with learning and remembering new medical terms. I was also afraid to take the NCLEX right away and delayed it.
During that waiting period, I worked a full-time job at a nail salon and studied consistently every single night for 3 to 4 hours straight for one month. Here is the exact strategy I used to pass on my first try:

1. Mastered Content with Bootcamp

Active Note-Taking: I watched all the Bootcamp videos. Whenever I came across something I didn't understand, I wrote it down and rewatched the video until it clicked.
Leveraged AI: I heavily used "Bootcamp ChatGPT" to ask questions about my weak areas until I fully understood them.
Applied Learning: I immediately did practice questions after finishing video modules to lock in the information.

2. Built Daily Consistency with Practice Questions

Daily Routine: I did 20 to 50 questions a day depending on my work schedule. Even on exhausted days where I only managed 5 questions, I never skipped a day so I wouldn't lose my momentum.

Deep-Dived into Mistakes:
First, I read rationales very carefully and wrote them down. If I still didn't get it, I asked Bootcamp ChatGPT repeatedly until I understood.
Second, the next day, I reviewed all my notes on the questions I got wrong. This took extra time, but it helped the information stick.

Targeted Weaknesses: I didn't waste time on areas I was already strong in.

❤️❤️❤️Note on Resources: For me, Bootcamp felt very close and similar to the actual NCLEX. If you do well on Bootcamp, you will likely do well on the real exam!❤️❤️❤️❤️

3. Supplemented with UWorld

During the daytime when I had free time at work, I practiced with UWorld. Personally, I felt UWorld was much easier than the NCLEX—my scores on UWorld were very high, whereas Bootcamp challenged me much more!😅😅😅

4. Final Review Before Test Day
Mark Klimek: 3 to 4 days before the exam, I listened to Mark Klimek's lectures (especially Lecture 12) and focused heavily on my weak spots.
Dr. Sharon: On the morning of my exam, I watched Dr. Sharon on YouTube, focusing strictly on my weak areas for a final confidence boost.

❤️❤️❤️Test-Day Strategy❤️❤️❤️
I didn't feel fully ready, but I didn't want to waste money rescheduling, so I pushed through and took it!

Paced Myself: I didn't take any breaks. I took my time and read questions 3 to 4 times until I fully understood them before even looking at the answer choices.
Patient-Centered Mindset: For every answer choice, I asked myself: "If I am a real nurse right now, what should I do to save my patient?" This mindset really helped.❤️❤️

The Result: The questions consistently got harder as I moved forward, and I didn't get many repeats. That's how I passed in 85 questions on my first try!
