Model United Nations of the University of Chicago (MUNUC) is the premier simulation of the United Nations for high school students in the country.
MUNUC is a student organization at the University of Chicago dedicated to providing educational experiences to high school students around the world through the platform of Model UN. Our signature program is a four-day conference hosted in downtown Chicago, which brings together nearly 3,000 students from around the world for a weekend of policy deliberation and international diplomacy simulation. MUNUC also operates auxiliary initiatives in Beijing, Chengdu, and Hong Kong.

This past weekend, MUNUC teamed up with Alpha Kappa Alpha to host a half-day workshop on the history of the UN and global health issues for ASCEND Scholars. Each year, MUNUC provides the opportunity for local schools to attend workshops with MUNUC staff members to develop leadership skills and refine their understanding of world politics.
