Whoever wants to hear a bassoon solo -a bassoon concerto- please come to my/our concert at Trinity Christian University in Palos Heights this Sunday at 4.  I will perform Andante and Hungarian Rondo among many other pieces on the concert. Details on the flyer.

You won’t regret going to the free Grant Park Symphony concerts all summer until mid August every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening. Down in Millennium Park.

So enriching and so encouraging to see thousands of people come out for classical music.  and did I mention it’s FREE?!

Prelude in C Major, Op. 28, No. 1 Chopin's book of 24 Preludes was written while in his late 20s, and this one, opus 28 #1 in C major still has an optimistic happy outlook.

At my solo piano recital last Sunday, playing beautiful music. With a dear fellow piano teacher of mine, Marcia Mally. 

A very helpful and enticing way to learn all these rhythms!

So glad I get to teach here across the street from the lake. Beauty is inspiring.

We all, students and professionals alike, occasionally drop a note. I know I do, but we go for the deeper feeling, the deeper meaning, the beauty and coolness of playing in general.
