Today is and we want to remind you that self-care is important! Be aware of your emotions and don't hesitate to reach out for help. ResU has great Counseling and Wellness services for free on campus! As nursing students and future nurses, it's important to build healthy habits and learn how to care for ourselves so we can best care for others! Pass on the awareness; break the stigma.

ResU UNA is spreading awareness for and remembering this week as World Su***de Prevention Week. According to National Su***de Prevention for Life, 800,000 individuals die by su***de making it the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. Su***de can affect anyone regardless of their race, age, gender, sexuality, religion or socioeconomic status.
Not just this week, but every week we should strive to break the stigma and discuss mental health with our loved ones. If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, we encourage you to seek out treatment. As future healthcare workers, here are some warning signs to look out for and resources to provide-- not only to patients, but to loved ones, coworkers, and even for your own well-being! ***dePreventionWeek
