Frederick Douglass was no hero
Twenty years before the Civil War, at the National Negro Convention, Henry Highland Garnett gave a resolution called the “Call to Rebellion” where he called for Africans to fight for liberation against the slave masters. He reminded them of the military formations that were ready. He said, “Now is the day and hour. Rather die freemen than live to be slaves.” Then, right before the resolution was to pass, Douglass gets up to persuade these Africans not to fight the oppressors. Of course the motion died. Then, when asked by President Lincoln at the Meeting for Resettlement, what do Negroes want in this country? Douglass answered, “We want to integrate with you.” Where did Douglass get these ideas? Horace Greenley, Charles Sumner(so-called Jew), John Brown and George Stearns(so-called Jew) who was responsible for financing the recruitment of the African American regiment 54 and 55 Massachusetts Infantry as well as Harper’s Ferry. Douglass was asked by Stearns to become a recruiting officer for him and the North, of course he accepted. Wait, didn’t Douglass tell Africans not to fight 20 years earlier? Right. Douglass writes in February 16, 1852 to Horace Greenley: “we believe that the contact with the White race even under the many unjust and painful restrictions to which we are subjected, does more toward our elevation and improvement than the mere circumstances of being separated from them could ever do.” Please research independently.
