Are you looking for ways to give back this holiday season? National Louis University is an official drop-off location for Toys For Tots! If you happen to see some cool toys during your Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping sprees, consider buying one or more of them and stopping by either the Chicago or Wheeling campus with it, because I'm sure there's a child out there who will also think that toy is pretty cool on Christmas morning.

National Louis University was proud to have outstanding representation this weekend at the 2019 Fall In! put on by SVA Illinois, including our very own Dr. Stephen Curda as the guest speaker, former NLU VMP Director and current SVA Illinois president Mr. Paul Knutson, current VMP Director Dr. Stacey Dixon, and two representatives from the Students Veterans Of America At National Louis University!

Just a reminder that our Meet and Greet is happening both tomorrow and Wednesday! Also if you have not registered for this event at Soldier Field on Thursday it is recommended. This is one of the better veterans' career fairs around.

Our NLU chapter president was honored to be among the 125 chapter leaders from across the country selected to attend the 2019 SVA Leadership Institute in Washington DC! The focus was creating more effective leadership attributes through building values and acting upon those values, as well as strong personal branding.
With over 70% of military veterans pursuing post-secondary education, we are the most highly educated subsection of the United States population. We are the leaders of tomorrow. If you are a student veteran at National Louis University, be sure to contact the NLU chapter of the SVA for similar opportunities to travel, for networking, and for professional development.
