My yoga practice has been a saving grace in my life. I was fortunate to discover yoga at a young age. The practice has carried me through the hardest parts of life and allows me to come back home to myself every time I step on my mat. But the real work, I've found, is what happens off the mat. It's taught me how to stay just as present in my breath and my body in times of pain as in times of joy. It has allowed me to show up to my experience, find compasion for myself and by extension more fully be able to show up with empathy for others. I remember thinking right after finishing teacher training, "wow, I GET to teach people". It felt like such an honor. I still feel that way. I'm so gratefully to be a teacher but first and foremost to be a student. Happy solstice. Happy international yoga day.

Hi friends! If you're looking for a spacious, soulful getaway my friend Rebecca Niziol has 2 more spots available on her upcoming Spirit Woman Retreat.

It's for the modern day woman who wants a week free from a busy, noisy mind and life to drop into deep connection with herself, her soul and nature. It is an intimate group of powerful, loving women attending.

Enrollment ends this weekend (April 1st at midnight). She's set up a special deal where if you mention my name when enrolling you'll save $300. I know this will be a deeply restorative and meaningful experience for you if you attend.

I received news this week that after over 2 years, I would be loosing my Sunday morning yoga class at Exhale. Next Sunday, November 5 will be my last class. Seeing the community we have built together and watching students show up week after week leave me feeling inspired and so grateful for the opportunity to have been your teacher. But it’s my yoga practice that reminds me that nothing in this life is permanent, so as heartbroken as I am to have this time come to an end, I hope you’ll all continue to practice with me at a new time in a new (big!) room every Wednesday night from 7:30-8:45pm beginning this week. Namaste 🙏🏼
