The Fire Between Us

There is a fire that lives between us,
Not wild and reckless,
But steady,
A smoldering heat that knows its purpose.
It does not burn to destroy—
It ignites to create,
To consume doubt,
To forge love anew with every touch.

Your hands,
Soft and tender,
Trace the story of my being.
Every line you follow,
Every curve you embrace,
Speaks to me in a language
That only our souls understand.
You hold me
As if the world rests within my form,
And in your touch,
I feel eternity.

Your lips,
Gentle and searching,
Write poetry across my skin,
Each kiss a verse
That awakens parts of me
I thought long forgotten.
You pull me closer,
Not just to your body,
But to the truth of who I am,
Seen, cherished, loved.

The way you breathe my name
