The MSL’s Annual Symposium has seen many iterations since it’s 2019 launch, but this year's capstone event welcomed a new twist featuring presentations by several alumni. It's always a pleasure to recognize the achievements of our faculty! Congratulations to Professor Sarah Lawsky for earning the 2024 Martin E. and Gertrude G. Walder Award for Research Excellence at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law . 🏆
Professor Lawsky has taught federal income tax, corporate tax, partnership tax, tax policy, tax deals, and contracts. Her research focuses on tax law and on the application of formal logic and artificial intelligence to the law. The Walder Award recognizes her international impact at the intersection of law, AI, and policy.
