To Them That Believe

To Them That Believe (T3B) is a gospel based performing arts company located in Chicago. Our focus is to build up the confidence of children and the youth through the arts and divine revelation and knowledge. In a world that seeks to make people feel inadequate at a young age, we are providing children with an experience that’ll unlock the greatness that is inside of them. Our teachers will not only strengthen their acting, singing, and/or dancing but also cultivate their minds.

John Sharpe Jr., our director, has his own testimony of how the arts have helped him and the vision that God has for the company.

“I have always been shy, even to this day at times. But that began to change the moment I got into acting. From the moment I walked on stage and delivered my first line it felt as though that something shifted in me. I didn’t become bold overnight, as a person or an artist. But as time went on, I became more confident in myself and my abilities. There have been plenty of people along this journey who have helped me with that. I believe that God orchestrated them to be in my life at specific times to push me past my limitations and to the next level. And because of this, I now have a deeper understanding of who I am.

And I believe that now He is requiring me to do the same for others.

It is a precious burden of mine to take my experiences and knowledge and pour it into children. But I am not just referring to artistry. Although I’m sure that there will be a lot of great artists who are born out of this company, this is much deeper than that. This is about coming against insecurities, depression, su***de, etc., driving out the lies that have made them feel inadequate, and raising up a generation who believe in themselves and, if they decide, the God who created them.”
