🚨 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT: SCHOOL CLOSING 🚨

Due to the extreme cold weather conditions forecasted for the Chicago area, Latino Youth High School will be CLOSED on Friday, January 23rd.

Your safety is our top priority. Please stay warm and indoors as much as possible.

School will resume at its normal time of 8:00 AM on Monday, January 26th.

Today I’m grateful for students who step up. LYHS students volunteered to pack food bags for families in need—proof that compassion and community go hand in hand.

Huge thanks to our students and staff for making last Friday’s annual Thanksgiving celebration such a success! ❤️ The food, the teamwork, and the positive energy made it a really special day for our school community.
