Thank you to all Early Childhood advocates for supporting our young children, families, and educators!

The Illinois General Assembly just passed the FY27 budget, which includes additional investments of $70M in child care and early intervention services for families across our state. IAFC commends these efforts to strengthen and sustain critical support for families across Illinois, yet we also recognize key areas where more investment is needed. We're grateful for every advocate, provider, and lawmaker who has championed early childhood programs, but our work is far from over. Our Special Someone Dance was filled with lots of laughter and dancing! Seeing our little ones light up while spending time with their families made it truly special.

Springtime Presents- The Study of Caterpillars and Butterflies 🐛🦋 We sang and danced to our "Very Hungry Caterpillar" song- followed by a relaxed coloring session 🎸🎨

We raised our voices for early childhood education at Advocacy Day in Springfield, speaking with lawmakers about the importance of investing in our children and our educators.

Strong early childhood programs create stronger communities. Every child deserves access to safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning experiences, and that starts with continued support, funding, and advocacy.
