Third Floor Suzuki Violin

I do have to say that one of my favorite things to see a student do is to bring in a neat, well marked piece of music.

I can't say I'm a fan of a lot of new music being written these days, but this, is good new music. No gimmicks, very virtuosic and kept my attention the whole time. I'll be adding Curtis Stewart to my list of modern composers to keep tabs on.

This was from one of the best Suzuki Book 3 playthroughs I've heard! Every piece was played well, with good posture, tone, intonation, musicianship. An easy pass. Onward to viola book 4!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made yesterday’s concert at Winnemac Park so special! The students’ beautiful playing filled the park with music, and we all loved seeing the sense of community that the Suzuki Method creates when we come together. We are grateful to everyone who made this event possible. It was a joy to share the music and spirit of Suzuki with our wider community.

Join us this Sunday, September 14 from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM at Winnemac Park (just east of the stadium and tennis courts) for an outdoor concert featuring students from Third Floor Suzuki Violin, Ms. Mari's String Studio, and Lincoln Square Suzuki. Our young violinists will share their talents in a warm, family-friendly setting. The concert is free and open to the public—bring a picnic lunch, relax in the park, and enjoy beautiful music in the fresh air!
