Cru Connect tomorrow will be in honor of our friend Sheridan Gorman 🎀 We’ll be gathering at 7 pm in Simpson MPR. This will be a space to remember Sheridan together—there will be an opportunity to share memories or simply come and be present. You don’t have to say anything to belong here. All are welcome! We’ll serve food afterward if you’d like to stay and spend more time together 🤍

Sheridan was an absolute delight. Compassionate, selfless, kind, generous, joyful, willing, and so much fun. A beautiful person and a genuine soul. She made us feel seen, valued, and loved. There aren’t enough words to sum up a life like hers or to explain how much we’ll miss her. Our community will not be the same without her. And it is so unfair that we don’t get more time with her. We are heavy with grief. And we hold that in tension with the reality that Jesus is our refuge and shelter. The darkness of this world does not overshadow the light of Christ’s love. May we all cling to the hope that we are saved by grace through faith in the One who has defeated death itself. Pray for Sheridan’s family, friends, our community, and for justice 🎀
