Interviewer: What do you wish people knew about your work at CSA?
Kerri: We hire for a broad range of positions, including content writers, editors, and experts in everything from automotive repair to zoology, and there isn’t a certain type of candidate we look for in any position. Previous experience working in educational publishing (or education or publishing for that matter) is not always a requirement, so if a candidate’s skills match, regardless of industry, they are encouraged to apply.

Amber: I want clients to know that our alignment and curriculum development teams can be available to come on projects in a planning capacity. I think there can be a fear that a project should not start until every element is planned, but the CSA team is great at providing vision and direction and it can be a great way to collaborate and get the ball rolling earlier to help the schedule.

Before working in educational publishing, Ron spent several years in the classroom teaching Literature, Public Speaking, Grammar and Composition, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Business Writing, and Technical Writing. He entered educational publishing where he’s managed a variety of projects in ELA, Social Studies, and Science. Kate has over 20 years of experience in ELA, Social Studies, and ESL. From classroom teaching experience, to curriculum and assessment development and writing, Kate has successfully helped educators and learners increase excellence and rigor for their pedagogical goals.
