Marian has invited Khoi Bao Tran (KJ) '21 to report the news in his first language of Vietnamese! Marian supports our Amerigo Chicago students in new and inventive ways each year. With the help of Mr. Michael Cassidy, KJ shares with the Marian community a piece of his culture by distributing the news while across the globe!

This past weekend Amerigo Chicago students had the opportunity to visit one of their Campus Staff's favorite nature spots, Swallow Cliffs. It was a gorgeous fall day and a chance for the students to enjoy the fresh, crisp air.

Today students at Marian both in class and online spent time learning about current events in ARC. Mr. Thomas Tischler brings new and intriguing topics to class each day to help students not only increase their English Proficiency but also become well-rounded global citizens.

We were so happy to have celebrated the Mid Autumn Festival with our students. We had moon cakes, rice cakes, Shikhye, and dumplings! Our students are so important to us and making them feel cared for, even if it takes a long trip to pick up dumplings, we are happy to do it!

During these challenging times, our campuses have risen to the occasion in keeping students safe and engaged. We’re incredibly proud of the resiliency, creativity, and strength displayed by our students and staff as they finished the school year in quarantine.
