Located on Chicago’s South Side, Kennedy-King College (KKC) embodies the commitment to academic excellence and civic responsibility espoused by its namesakes, civil and human rights activists Robert F. Following in the paths of the colleges namesakes, KKC Athletics has a rich tradition in providing athletic opportunities for the students desiring to participate in intercollegiate athletics. KKC has fielded teams in Baseball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer and Volleyball. Kennedy-King has produced four National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Americans. Since 2011, 29 student-athletes have been selected to the All-Region IV Team. KKC student-athletes have also celebrated wins in academic achievement with 22 Statesmen receiving the NJCAA Academic Award, which is the most of all City Colleges of Chicago Athletic departments.
