A'Lester Allen, a UIC IRACDA scholar and postdoctoral fellow in the Moore Lab, received the Career Award at the Scientific Interface (CASI) from the Burroughs-Wellcome Fund. A'Lester is the first-ever UIC winner of this prestigious award, which provides $560K over five years to help postdocs transition to faculty roles. Congratulations!

The American Chemical Society Division of Medicinal Chemistry awarded Trevor Dean from Terry Moore's lab a Predoctoral Fellowship. The award recognizes outstanding predoctoral students engaged in medicinal chemistry research. Congratulations, Trevor.
