What plants have to teach us, goes far beyond biology.

All of my biggest breakthroughs in therapy have always come from my houseplants. I love the way they give me a mirror to observe life, and challenge and grow in ways I never knew possible.

What have you learned from your plants?
I’d love for you to share below

I was shocked.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people, auditing their growing conditions and making recommendations, and I was so disappointed at how many people spent their hard earned money on fertilizers and plant foods that weren’t making any difference. And they were all confused on what the problem was… YOUR PLANTS NEED MORE G*DD*MN LIGHT.

And hey, I’ve paid my price too early in my journey, buying all sorts of things I just blindly hoped would help.

There’s a reason this series started with lighting and water, because it’s what plants need the most.
Like there are five HUGE things you need to have solved FIRST, BEFORE you even think about fertilizers, food, supplements, or anything along those lines.

Light.
Water.
Substrate.
Pot.
pH.

I think it’s maybe a result of our deeply capitalistic society, everyone is ALWAYS coming out with a new product to sell you.

Because the truth is, there’s not a lot of money to be made in actually teaching people how to grow. Then people could be independent of conglomerate food industries! (gasp)

No, but really, it’s also everyone wanting a quick fix. But here’s the thing… Mother Nature been doing plants FAR longer than we’ve been recording history. And they don’t need much folks.
The equation is PREEEEETY simple.

But yeah, there’s room for nuance.
I’m not gonna yuck your yum, but… I am gonna help you try to save a coin.

More in-depth fertilizer/nutrients info in the coming days.
For now, what did I miss? What questions do you have?

I said “I know my audience. And they know me”

Stay tuned for more practical, shame-free, (and maybe a little unhinged????) houseplant advice

When people ask what my secret is, this is what I tell them.

Plants are never perfect. They aren’t meant to be.
They are companions for us, teachers for us.

Vid also features two special guests.
