Add some split stance to your exercises. If it is a split stance squat, hip hinge, touches, or rotation, be sure to mind your ABCs - alignment, breathing, and control.

Avoid pinching or squeezing the arms to your sides as this can create shoulder problems and disrupt proper shoulder mechanics of movement.

Rather keep space between your body and your elbows and pull pack only as far as you can maintain neutral shoulder position (no forward shoulder) this is usually to parallel with the torso.
