The Illinois General Assembly passed the FY27 state budget, including increased funding for CCAP and Early Intervention and continued support for critical early childhood programs and workforce investments. Lawmakers also advanced key policies to strengthen supports for families, providers, and educators across Illinois.

These wins happened because advocates, parents, and providers spoke up, but the work is not done. Illinois’ early childhood system still needs deeper, sustained investment, and We, the Village will keep fighting for the resources children, families, educators, and providers need to thrive.

La Asamblea General de Illinois aprobó el presupuesto estatal del año fiscal 2027, que incluye un aumento en la financiación para CCAP e Intervención Temprana, además de apoyo continuo para programas esenciales de la primera infancia y la fuerza laboral.
