My first time to use 2 canvases to create 1 image. (2) 10x30 acrylic paint and markers. My inspiration for this piece is all the women who I look up to and all women of different race, color, culture - we are all beautiful and amazing!

Deep Blue Lily Pond

As someone with a Photorealistic background, I was trying to work quickly and loosely in this painting at the Chicago Botanic Garden Lily pond. This is oil on a 9" x 12" linen panel. I was inspired by the loose brushwork and vibrant colors of Monet after visiting his home and garden in Giverny.
