📣 Publication alert: I’m excited to share that our new paper, “A guide to building the matrisome interactome: from computational predictions to experimental validation” is now published in FEBS Journal!
In this work, we describe a comprehensive framework that combines computational methods, data integration, and experimental validation strategies to decipher how hashtag components interact and influence cell and tissue functions 🧩.

A new UIC study of blood stem cells asks: Can we slow aging on a cellular level? UIC researchers found that adding a protein to old blood cells reversed signs of aging, which points to a promising therapeutic target for preventing or improving age-related disorders in the blood and immune systems.
