“There has always been something about AXID that feels like home. I joined last fall, and as a freshman, stuck in my hometown I was feeling isolated from college and wanted to get more involved. I ended up meeting with a few girls to learn about sororities, and while doing this I was actually accidentally going through informal recruitment. One night I ended up opening my email to a bid and from that moment to now I have never regretted my decision. The community that AXID has given me, the best friends I have made, and the leadership opportunities I have gained are just the beginning. Having this home away from home is so amazing and I am beyond grateful for all my sisters.”

Meet Audrey, she a junior and she is our Assistant New Member Orientation Director. Audrey played a huge part in big little, we are so lucky to have her.

"There’s a million reasons why I love Alpha Xi. From the chipotle runs with my sisters during recruitment to getting my big and everything in between, everyday I find a new reason to explain why I went Alpha Xi. I easily felt at home here and can literally talk to any of the girls at ease. I know that at the end of the day I can go to any of them at anytime about anything and they’ll be there for me. Alpha Xi will always be a home to me cause deep in my heart I love my AXID."

Today is a very special because recruitment starts today! Of course we had to shine a spotlight on our recruitment queen who is our membership vp!!

“Recruitment is amazing and a once and a life time experience! Meeting all of the incredible women in Alpha Xi Delta and having genuine, honest and fun conversations with soon to be sisters was one of the greatest things about going through the recruitment process. While overwhelming at times, once bid day came around I had the best time with all of my new sisters and now some if my closest friends that I wouldn’t be able to life without! Happy recruitment week and I can not wait to meet all of you amazing PNMS!”

“going into college i really didn’t think i was going to join a sorority but with everything being online i just felt so disconnected. i decided to go through informal recruitment and after meeting with axid twice i knew i wanted to be a part of the friendships and community in axid. everyone was so nice and authentic and welcomed me with huge open arms!”
