Every ache has a story 📖, and sometimes it starts somewhere unexpected.

Our Massage Therapy program teaches students use hands-on experience to learn to look beyond the area of discomfort and develop the clinical reasoning skills needed to understand how the body works as a connected system.

PCHS DAcCHM Alumna, Rosanna De La Cruz, LAc, discovered acupuncture while supporting a family member through cancer treatment. Seeing its impact inspired her to pursue a career in Chinese medicine.

Today, Rosanna owns 3 private practices focused on women’s health, seeing 50–60 patients each week and employing two acupuncturists. She credits PCHS's rigorous clinic experience and hands-on training with preparing her to integrate Chinese medicine with biomedicine.

The education she received gave her the confidence to become a healer, start her own practice, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. From patient advocate to practitioner, her journey reflects what’s possible with the right foundation.
