Day 9 of Literacy Camp- trip to the !

Day 8 of Literacy Camp. Did you know a Peregrine falcon can dive at speeds of up to 240 mph!? We conducted some experiments and determined our average camper can run at 7 mph. We also created our own paper airplanes using ideas from what we learned about falcons and other fast birds.

Day 7 of Literacy Camp. Popsicles and shared reading after recess.

Day 5 of Literacy Camp! Do you know why the letter ‘y’ sometime says “ee” (like baby) and other times says “eye” (like my)? Our campers do! See if you can figure it out from their word work.

Day 4 of Literacy Camp- field trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo! Lots of fun with a Zoo Experience and animal themed literacy activities prepared by our graduate student clinicians

Day 3 of Literacy Camp and our youngest campers are practicing tapping out words from their books.
