What if you started giving yourself permission to be the bad-ass you are? What if you stopped apologizing for who you are and where you live? What if you learned how to make bold choices and have a point-of-view that’s visceral and exciting? 20 years ago, Anthony opened his first studio in Los Angeles. Since then, the studio has not only created bad-ass actors. It has fundamentally changed the way people view acting, approach the work, understand creativity and ultimately live their lives. is here for you.
Are you ready to take a chance?
With so much love, rest in peace Matthew.

The WGA is on strike...but what does that mean. To be quite honest the short answer is simple but the more details, as viewers not in the Hollywood bubble, can be overwhelming. So here are 15 things to understand about what the hell is going on and how we as viewers will also be affected.
Also, I'd LOVE to talk to a writer(s) more about this so I can have a better understanding of it all, its rippling effect, and more. If anyone's interested DM me!

This week Anthony joined on Two Unemployed Actors] to chat about the business of acting, struggles, and ways to become Unstuck! Checkout Two Unemployed Actors] to tune in!
On our latest episode, Tony chats with director Clare Kilner who directed 3 episodes of the Game of Thrones prequel- House of the Dragon, premiering August 21st. They talk about the likeness of directors and actors figuring it out and the importance of trusting your own process.
We are now enrolling for our September classes! Reach out to [email protected] to reserve your spot!
Actors often make the mistake of doing homework to prepare themselves for that which can’t be prepared. Like attempting to prepare for moments of love, tragedy, loss, heartache, joy, desire, surprise, rage, ecstasy and anguish.
If we are truly open to the present moment, these feelings will be evoked out of us through listening and reacting under the circumstances of the scene.
Of course you should know what’s going on in your scene. And if you are acting in a period piece, yes, you should do your research.
But breakthroughs in your work will come from being being brave, embracing unfamiliar feelings, telling the truth, moving out of your comfort zone, owning your opinion, and connecting with others through listening and reacting. If you feel like you need to do homework, do it in your life and watch it seep into your work!
Characters are just versions of YOU, forged under the circumstances of the scene. Instead of shaping yourself into a character, let the circumstances evoke different parts of you, including the parts that don't get out often. Those parts, the shadow parts, are often the most interesting!
Instead, we care about listening and reacting! We practice cold reads in class… a lot… because you can’t plan ahead when you literally don’t know what’s going to happen in the script next. The moment is what matters, so let’s put all of our effort into building our listening and reacting muscles, and let’s worry about memorization later.
