Our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, along with Mrs. Schumack, our gym teacher, spent today with the Chicago Wolves! 🏒
Students got Schooled by Skates, learning how hockey connects to everyday classroom subjects like math, science, reading, language arts, and social studies. From calculating shot angles to exploring teamwork and communication, this field trip was an exciting way to see learning in action!

Join us Tuesday, October 21 at 7PM in the church for our very first Parents Connect session entitled Executive Functioning.
Executive Functioning refers to the mental skills that help us manage thoughts, actions, and emotions to reach our goals.
Many parents wonder how to better support their children at home. Come learn to help them build stronger study habits, responsibility, and independence.
This session will dive into practical strategies you can use right away, from brain breaks and homework timers to identifying your child’s strengths and challenges. We’ll explore how learning to navigate struggles (like a forgotten Chromebook or a low grade) builds resilience and character that lasts far beyond the classroom.
Let’s come together as a community to connect, share, and grow as we help our children strengthen these essential life skills.
✨ Refreshments and babysitting will be provided.✨All parish parents are welcome to attend! We hope to see you there!
