WHAT I STAND FOR: A LETTER FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
To the Families of our (soon-to-open) Ravenswood Manor Campus
Dear Families,
When my husband, Amir, and I were thinking about building Tiny Giants, we began with a deeply personal question: “What kind of place would we want surrounding our own child during the earliest and most important years of their life?”
We were preparing to become parents for the first time, and we found ourselves thinking not only about the kind of care our child would need, but also about the kind of childhood we hoped she would experience. We imagined a place filled with warmth, color, laughter, movement, curiosity and care. A place where children could ask endless questions, make welcome messes, build friendships, and discover who they are. A place that carried some of the spirit of our own childhoods, when play felt expansive and even ordinary days could become little adventures.
We also knew that creating such a place would depend on the people within it. We wanted to build a community where staff felt valued, supported and inspired to do their very best work. A place where educators who were caring for children could be fully present during those early years, celebrating first words, brave steps, new friendships, growing independence and countless discoveries that shape a child’s sense of self.
That vision became Tiny Giants.
From the beginning, Amir and I have believed that early childhood education should be about far more than preparing children for what comes next. Childhood is not a waiting room. It is a meaningful, vibrant chapter of life that deserves to be protected, celebrated and filled with possibility.
At Tiny Giants, children are encouraged to explore their interests, express their ideas, take thoughtful risks and stand tall in who they are. We want every child to feel individual, every family to feel welcomed and every educator to understand the lasting importance of their role.
Our new Ravenswood Manor campus represents the next chapter of that vision. We chose this community because it reflects so much of what we value: connection, creativity, family life and a strong sense of neighborhood. Ravenswood Manor feels like a place where people care for one another, where families put down roots and where a preschool can become an important part of the community surrounding it.
We have built this new campus with tremendous care and intention. Every classroom, shared space, learning experience and family touchpoint is being designed to feel warm, playful and alive with possibility. Yet the most important part of Tiny Giants Ravenswood Manor will never be the building itself. It will be the relationships formed inside it.
You can expect a place where individuality is celebrated and where children are encouraged to express themselves.
You can expect a community where differences are welcomed, and kindness is practiced every day to give each child a sense of belonging.
You can expect our educators to set high standards for care and work in partnership with your family as your child grows.
You can expect days filled with play, music, movement, creativity, discovery and connection.
Most of all, you can expect care that feels personal.
Our promise is that every child who walks through our doors is treated with pride, kindness and genuine affection. We will create space for them to be bold and quiet, curious and cautious, eager to venture out and comforted knowing someone is always nearby. We will meet them where they are, encourage them as they grow and remind them, in a hundred small ways each day, that they belong.
Opening our Ravenswood Manor campus in September 2026, is not simply the launch of another childcare center. It is the beginning of a new family-based community.
We are honored by the families who are considering joining us, grateful to those who have already placed their trust in us, and excited for the many stories that will soon unfold within these walls.
