Now to know us is to understand this picture, LOL!! She’s my first teacher, trusted advisor, and constant inspiration. Her passion for education (retired CPS teacher) has been my inherited trait for the past 24 years. The REAL boss, my mom, Mrs. Eloise Cheers and this is US!!

Good news just keeps coming our way! Shoutout to Deja Biggs, CEG’s c/o 2020, on being selected as a Golden Apple Scholar!!! Deja is a sophomore at the University of Illinois, majoring in middle school education.

She is one of CEG’s first clients and we are very proud of her continued success. We are especially grateful that she stays connected with us!

As we always say, “once a CEG kid ALWAYS a CEG kid!”

Today, the world lost a true man of service, leader, and champion for humanity; Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.

Rev. Jackson made his mark as a young protégé of the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and continued his indelible legacy as a civil rights leader through ministry, advocating, organizing, and creating.

His work was consistent and his phrases were catchy, inspiring to generations. Rev. Jackson was a reminder of how far our country has progressed in civil rights yet the nudge of how much work is still needed to be done.

More specifically, he called Chicago home; a badge of pride for us Chicagoans, and his memory and legacy will be cemented in everything that makes us The City of Big Shoulders.

Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr., Cheers Education Group salutes you, and we will continue to “Keep hope alive”.

Just as we encourage our kids, we’re doing the same for The Chicago Bears. Today’s a big one, now let’s gooooo and BEARDOWN!!!

All year, the kids have been saying “6-7” but we’re screaming 9-3!!!
